Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of “The One” mobile application and web application (collectively, “the App”) provided by Camp Connection, LLC (“Camp Connection,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the App, you (“User” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Camp Connection. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

1. Access and Use

Access to the App is by invitation only. Anonymous access is not permitted. We collect User information only when voluntarily and explicitly provided by you. Access is granted solely upon receiving an invitation link from an existing User of the App. By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload, post, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.

You are solely responsible for your conduct and any content you submit through the App.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the App, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Camp Connection or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, publish, or exploit any such content without our prior written consent.

4. Payments and Funds Handling

Camp Connection facilitates transactions through the App. All funds collected via the App are received and held by Camp Connection and disbursed to our clients, including Camps and Retreat Centers, on a weekly basis, subject to applicable fees, deductions, and verification processes. You acknowledge that Camp Connection acts solely as a payment processor and is not responsible for disputes related to underlying transactions between Users and clients. All payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

5. Gmail Integration

5.1 Gmail Data Access and Usage

When you connect your Gmail account to the App via Google’s OAuth 2.0 system, we access:
Permissions: Sending emails (gmail.send), composing drafts (gmail.compose), managing emails and labels (gmail.modify, gmail.labels), and viewing your email address and profile (userinfo.profile, userinfo.email).
Usage: We use this data to send camp-related communications (e.g., invitations, notifications, booking confirmations), share documents, and log communication events for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) purposes.

5.2 Gmail Data Storage and Processing

Stored Data: We store encrypted OAuth credentials, account metadata (email address, display name, profile photo, connection timestamps), communication logs (recipient, subject, timestamps), and sync settings. We do not store email content, attachments, or inbox messages unless explicitly sent through the App.

Processing: Gmail data is processed on secure U.S.-based servers using encrypted HTTPS connections and Firebase security infrastructure.
Retention and Deletion: OAuth credentials and metadata are retained until you disconnect your Gmail account or delete your App account. Communication logs are kept for CRM purposes until account deletion. Audit logs are retained for 90 days. Upon disconnection or deletion, we revoke OAuth tokens and delete data within 30 days.

5.3 Your Rights Regarding Gmail Data

Access and Control: View connected Gmail accounts, disconnect anytime, manage permissions for shared accounts, and review activity logs via your profile.
Data Portability: Export communication logs, account metadata, and integration settings.
Privacy Controls: Revoke OAuth access via Google’s settings, choose specific permissions, and monitor API activity.

By connecting your Gmail account, you consent to these practices, which comply with Google’s API Services User Data Policy.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, protect, and disclose your information, including Gmail data. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camp Connection, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nevada. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or through other reasonable means, such as email or in-app notifications. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. Please review these Terms periodically.

11. Miscellaneous

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Camp Connection regarding the App, superseding any prior agreements.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
